SHOP POLICY

Yes, we have rules. Yes, you have to read them.

In accordance with the thrilling and always riveting Consumer Protection Act, 2002

Labour Charges

Labour costs $115 per hour. Yes, even the minutes we spend diagnosing your motorcycle's midlife crisis will be billed.

New customers, welcome! Depending on how old and crusty your motorcycle looks we may need to do an inspection. Don't take it personally -- we're just very thorough and want to know what we're getting ourselves in for.

Other Goods and Services (a.k.a. Bonus Fees You Might Encounter)

  • Seasonal Storage - See our packages

  • Pick-up & Delivery - Charged at our regular shop rate, even if when we get there your bike isn't ready to go. We don't teleport and gas ain't cheap.

  • Safety Inspection Certificate - $250 + applicable labour, because safety also ain't cheap.

All of the above come with a side of HST, because taxes love you.

Priorities, Scheduling & Other Harsh Realities

Listen, we get it -- you want your bike back yesterday. But here's the thing:

  • If you cancel a job or delay it for any reason, you're no longer guaranteed priority in our work queue. Your bike drops down the to-do list, possibly behind the guy who brought donuts.

  • Speaking of cancelling jobs, if we have to send parts back for your cancelled job, you will be charged a restocking fee.

  • We are not a first-come, first-served shop. Each job is different. Some bikes glide through repairs like a dream. Others turn into mechanical soap operas. We're not holding up easier jobs because your ride is suddenly developing 12 new problems.

  • We are proudly a Harley-Davidson focused shop. If you ride something else, we won't shoo you away -- we're just saying your Ducati/Kawasaki/Suzuki/Honda isn't our top priority. We'll get to it when we can, but don't expect to jump the line. (We can direct you to some great shops that specialize in metric bikes in fact!)

  • If you purchased a bike from us and are getting it safetied, we will do our very best to prioritize getting it done ASAP. However, if we have a fully booked schedule already, it may take a little bit longer than you were hoping. Be patient with us, we'll hustle as quick as we can.

Payment & Pick-Up

When your bike is ready, we'd like our money, please. Full payment is required before you get your hands back on your precious ride.

You've got 7 business days to pay after completion. If you ghost us after that, we start charging $20/day in storage fees (plus tax--because, Canada).

Bike gone, but you still owe money? You'll enjoy 10% monthly interest on that outstanding balance. It's like your bike is still here, just ... emotionally.

Oh, and credit cards? Sure, but there's a 3% service charge. We don't make the rules (just kidding, we totally do, but guess what? We're not paying for your points so you can buy a new blender).

Refunds? Sure thing, but we won't be eating the credit card fees.

Parts

We'll keep the bits we removed from your bike for 14 days after the work is done. Want em' back? Tell us upfront. Otherwise, they're headed to the parts graveyard.

You won't get parts back if:

  • They had to be sent back to the manufacturer for a warranty replacement.

  • The part was free and so was the work. (We're not made of parts).

Return of Parts

Want a refund for a defective part? Bring it back to the original fixer-upper (that's us). No take-backs without the actual part.

Warranty

We proudly offer a warranty:

90 days or 5,000km--whichever comes first (because we don't believe in forever love).

It covers parts we installed and the labour it took to install them.

If something goes wrong under warranty, we'll fix it. But--and this is key--you need to bring the bike back to us for repairs. Unless we're on the moon or something. Then we'll talk.

How to Avoid Your Warranty (Please Don't Do This)

  • Abuse your bike like it owes you money

  • Modify it into a Mad Max prop

  • Get it fixed somewhere else and then blame us

Insurance Work

If your bike's repairs are being paid for by insurance, we'll get started once we get paid by them (trust issues, you understand).

If you change your mind after that? You'll be on the hook for:

  • Restocking fees

  • Any non-returnable parts

  • All the labour we've already done

Because unfortunately, we can't undo hours of work with Ctrl+Z.

We truly appreciate your business, your understanding and your patience.
